Optical Fiber Assistant

Job Description 

• Carry out construction, installation, and maintenance work on optical and copper cable networks.

• Respond to emergency faults and ensure quick repair of optical cable lines.

• Install low-voltage systems and support new optical route construction as well as network expansions.

• Ensure smooth operation, upkeep, and monitoring of optical routes.

• Assist with maintenance and development of optical and electrical networks for server colocation.

• Install rack-mounted equipment and perform rack cabling.

• Set up cameras, access control systems, and network hardware.

• Perform optical fiber splicing, welding, and measurements on newly built lines.

• Conduct mechanical installation of optical end devices and ensure proper cable insertion.

• Work confidently with project documentation.

• Install both active and passive network equipment as required.

Job Requirements

• Technical secondary education completed.

• Must be Certified in OPTICAL FIBER NETWORKING.

• Willingness and ability to work on international projects.

• Valid driver’s license.

• Previous experience in a similar technical role is an advantage.
